Andrew Carter found his love for golf aged 12 alongside his love for Football but soon golf became his number 1 passion.
He turned pro in 2007 aged 21 after five years studying Golf and Sports Management at Myerscough College in Preston, UK.
Andrew then moved to Ireland to embark on his career within the PGA working at Hollywood Lakes GC and the highly rated Island Golf Club where he spent five fantastic years coaching and welcoming golfers from all over the world.
In 2013, Andrew moved back to Manchester to coach full time at Europe’s 2nd largest driving range – Trafford Golf Centre. Here he developed his coaching style and expertise to quickly develop into a Senior PGA Teaching Professional, coaching beginner to tour level calibre golfer.
Andrew still enjoys competing and in 2016 qualified for the final stage of the Open Championship qualification, competing against the likes of Colin Montgomerie.
This desire to continue playing tournaments allows Andrew to stay connected and engaged to golfers and their struggles with our beautiful game.
