European Tour Professional Henrik Stenson is an Honorary Member at Jumeirah Golf Estates. A native of Gothenburg, Sweden, Henrik turned professional in 1998.  A multiple winner on both the European and US Tours, Henrik’s win at the 2013 DP World Tour Championship, Dubai, made him the first player to win both The Race to Dubai and the US PGA Tour’s FedEx Cup in the same season. In 2014 he successfully defended his DP World Tour Championship title over the Earth course at Jumeirah Golf Estates.

In July 2016 Henrik recorded his first major win at the Open Championship in Scotland.  His last round at Royal Troon will go down as one of the best rounds of golf ever seen in a major.  A former resident of Dubai, Henrik utilizes the European Tour Performance Institute whilst in Dubai over the winter months.
